TIFFANY STUDIOS DAFFODIL TABLE LAMP. Conical shade has a decoration of daffodil flowers to the lower edge in striated lemon yellow, butterscotch and chiffon hues. Radiating from the top are vertical panels of green glass in a multitude of colors from chartreuse to medium apple green to emerald which represent the foliage of the flowers. Set amongst this design is a soft periwinkle color glass which represents the background sky. The shade is completed with a single geometric row to the top and three at the lower edge in complimentary colors. The shade is supported by a mock turtleback base with a gold dore finish with the bronze turtleback tiles having a statuary bronze finish. Three sockets, riser, wheel and top cap complete the lamp. The entire lamp has a gold finish suggesting that it started life together. Shade is signed “Tiffany Studios New York 1497”. Base is marked “Tiffany Studios New York 687”. SIZE: Shade is 20″ dia. Overall 25″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with few if any tight hairlines. 5-60070 (40,000-60,000)
