DURAND HARD RIBBED GINGER JAR. Gorgeous large ginger jar is complete with matching lid. The lid has a yellow transparent glass applied finial. The lid and jar are decorated with vertically ribbed panels in colors ranging from deep burgundy to rouge, ending with pink in the center of each panel. A deep iridescent accent is shown on the vertical ribbing. This is an outstanding example of this color. Signed “Durand”, “1964-8”. Similar example is pictured in the book Durand: The Man and His Glass by Edward J. Meschi, pg. 69, photo 180. SIZE: 9″ t.
