HANDEL MARBLEIZED BIRD LAMP. Outstanding Handel lamp is reverse painted with two colorful parrots on the front; one parrot has bright orange, yellow and blue plumage while the other is deep blue and maroon plumage. Back of the shade is decorated with a single perched parrot in colors of orange, yellow and blue. Shade is further decorated with patches of colorful yellow and pink flowers all set against a cream, blue and pink marbleized background. Shade rests on a nice three socket polychromed base with three leg design resting on a round black marble foot. Shade is signed “Handel 7128” with artist initial’s “PAL”. Base is unsigned. SIZE: Shade is 17-3/4″ dia. Lamp is 24″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with some minor flaking to polychrome on base. Base has replaced sockets. 5-68820 (12,000-15,000)
