METTLACH PUNCHBOWL. Extremely nice Mettlach punchbowl set consists of tray, punchbowl and lid. Each piece olive green body with a band of rich navy blue and raised cream colored decoration of grapes, vines and leaves. The punchbowl is further decorated on front and back with a scene of two women and four cherub-type figures. One side depicts the women speaking while the cherubs listen on, the other side depicts the women and cherubs harvesting grapes. Punchbowl and tray are signed on the underside with the castle mark, “Mettlach”, “GES.GESCH. 2602”. SIZE: Tray is 16″ dia. Overall 13-1/2″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with some discoloration to interior of punchbowl. 5-68583 (1,000-1,500)
