ROOKWOOD OWL BOOKENDS. Nice Rookwood bookends, each depicting a wise old owl standing atop a book. The bookends are finished in a shaded brown glaze. Signed on the bottom with Rookwood flame mark and dated 1946 and impressed with “655”. SIZE: Each 6″ h. CONDITION: Very good to excellent, with some crazing and a tiny nick to glaze on back edge of one bookend. 5-67942 (400-600)
