WEDGWOOD FAIRYLAND LUSTRE VASE. Exceptional Wedgwood Fairyland Lustre vase is decorated in the Butterfly Women pattern. The vase has a solid black background overlaid with mother-of-pearl Lustre. The vase is decorated with two Butterfly Women clothed in beautiful blue flowing gowns with golden hair and butterfly wings. The Butterfly Women are sitting on gnarled vines painted in brown with gold trim and red flowers with green leaves. A band of flying birds decorates the slightly flaring rim. The interior of the vase is decorated with various elves riding on birds and butterflies against a bluish-white background. Vase is signed on the bottom with gold Portland vase mark “Wedgwood England Z4968”. SIZE: 9-1/2″ h. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 5-66796 (2,500-3,000)
