MONUMENTAL MULLER ORIENTAL CAMEO VASE. Magnificent Muller vase has red cameo Oriental design with three large cartouches. First showing two Japanese women in traditional Kimonos, one with a parasol and one with a cup of tea. Second pictures a pond with bamboo and lilies and two cranes; one in flight and one looking upward while the third cartouche depicts a pond scene with mountain in the background, sailboat on the pond with cherry blossoms on the side and two birds in flight. Red cameo decoration is done against a frosted cream colored background. Vase is signed in the second cartouche, in cameo, Muller Freres Luneville”. SIZE: 17-1/4″ t.
