CARVED HARDSTONE MOUSE. Exceptionally fine hardstone mouse (probably Russian) has beautifully carved detail with large ears, curling tail and finely detailed paws. The mouse is holding a carrot made of red stone in its front paws. The detail of the fur is painstakingly done and the mouse is finished with single cut diamond eyes. Mouse is signed on the underside with maker’s signature, as well as a monogram under a crown. SIZE: 1-5/8″ t x 2″ l. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 5-66905 (8,000-10,000)
