WEDGWOOD FAIRYLAND LUSTRE MALFREY POT. Exceptional museum quality Wedgwood Fairyland Lustre malfrey pot is shape 2312 and is beautifully decorated in the Ghostly Woods pattern and contains the Demon Tree, Roc bird, black toad and dwarf and scorpion with large yellow tail and spines. Domed cover is decorated with Owls of Wisdom with purple bodies and blue trimmed eyes. Vase and cover are trimmed in dragon bead decoration, while the inside rim of both vase and cover are decorated in the Pan-Fei border. Inside of cover has a light blue lustre background with two elves on a branch. Marked on the underside with Portland vase mark, “Wedgwood”, “England” and “Z4968”. SIZE: 14” t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. Note: This vase had only one owner until 2006 when it came into our consignor’s possession. 5-63641 (35,000-45,000)
