GALLE VASE. Fantastic museum quality marquetry vase has inlaid flowers of red and cream which are in turn wheel-carved. The flowers are set against a background of amber with pulled lines of color extending up from the base. The bottom section of vase is decorated with beautifully wheel-carved leaves and stems. Superior workmanship with excellent coloring. Fancy intaglio signature on the face of the vase “Gallé”. SIZE: 6-3/4” t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 5-63226 (25,000-30,000)
