NAUTICAL REVERSE PAINTED LAMP. Wonderful reverse painted shade has nautical scene of ships in harbor surrounding the shade. Ships are set against a background of yellow and white billowing clouds leading to a blue sky above. Exterior of shade is textured in chipped ice. Shade rests on Handel base with brown patina and ribbed foot. Base is signed on bottom with original cloth label “Handel Lamps”. SIZE: Shade is 12 in. dia. Overall height is 20 in. CONDITION: A couple of tiny flakes to bottom edge of shade and some roughness to fitter rim on shade. Base finish has minor blistering and heat cap is non-Handel replacement.
