HANDEL CAMEL TABLE LAMP. Spectacular Handel reverse painted shade has beautifully executed camel and Arab sitting at an oasis with palm trees and desert in background. The painting is done on a chipped ice shade and illuminates beautifully. Shade is signed “Handel 6437”. Shade sets atop a bronze tone Handel base with textured body and incised Oriental type design surrounding the shoulder and riser supports three socket cluster. Base is signed on the foot with impressed “Handel”. SIZE: Shade is 18” dia. Overall height is 23”. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 5-71879 (27,500-32,500)
