PAIR OF SILVER BOXES. Wonderful pair of boxes has chased design around the body while tops have reposse of musicians. One is playing a stringed instrument, while the other is playing a tambourine. Boxes are hallmarked with lion is shield, crowned leopard, capital “N” and a king’s head facing right. Marks appear to date 1808-1809. SIZE: 2-1/2” dia x 2-1/8” t.
