MONUMENTAL DAUM BUMBLE BEE VASE. Truly outstanding Daum vase has cameo and enameled wild orchids and bumble bees against a background glass of mottled yellow shading to brown at the foot. Base has wonderful and delicate cameo spider webs entwined within the flower, leaves and stems. Hovering around the rose colored enameled flowers are three cameo and enameled bees. The foot of the vase has a stylized floral design trimmed in gold gilt. Signed on bottom “Daum Nancy” with the Cross of Lorraine. SIZE: 21” t.
