LATE 19TH EARLY 20TH CENTURY OVERLAY INKSTAND IN SILVER STAND. Blue cut to opal cut to clear inkstand with a 3-part silver stand. The inkpot has quatrefoil and trefoil cut with a silver lid and there is also a quatrefoil cut dish (for sand) with a turned over scalloped edge. The third section is a piece of animal bone, lightly carved with the Star of David and 2 sheaves of wheat. SIZE: 5 1/2″ tall by 9″ wide. CONDITION: There is a break in the silver stand where the arm extends out to the section of animal bone, it has not gone all the way through; otherwise the inkstand is in very good condition. 5-67125 (300-500)
