PATENT MODEL ANIMAL TRAP. Patented August 24, 1875 by P. B. Gibbs and Jason Brown #166,927. Ingenious animal trap purported to be self setting. It consists of a wire cage area beside a wooden box housing a clockwork motor that activates a four part paddle that in theory sweeps the animal into the cage.
