ARCADE WHITE DUMP TRUCK. Of the various cast iron commercial toy vehicles or toy trucks manufactured by Arcade during the 1930s the most illusive and highly desirable are the White trucks. This lifelike vehicle, depicted in toy form, is enameled in red with black highlighting to engine hood and running boards. Further adding to the appeal of this toy are the disc hubs with thin white rubber tires. A lever on the driver’s side allows the child to release the spring loaded bed which shoots upwards and empties its contents. Overall a very nice all original example with no repaint, repairs or damage to the iron castings. SIZE: 11-1/2′ l. CONDITION: Overall very good original finish with main wear to cab roof. Rubber tires are replacements, however original tires are present,but a few show a fair amount of distress or deterioration. 1-13390 (1,500-2,500)
