GOTTSCHALK BLUE ROOF DOLLHOUSE. A very fine example of a paper litho sided Gottschalk blue roof house originally sold to the French market as Deauville. Circa early 20th century. Appropriately marked in pencil on the bottom with “7/6” as well as what appears to read “3370”. An elaborate 1st and 2nd floor railings add to the charm of this house. Interior retains its original floor coverings as well as wallpaper. Paper throughout is in excellent condition, however house could use a good dusting/cleaning. Right side of base with simulated lattice cover on wood is missing. Front steps are older replacements. Interior has a fair amount of furnishings along with china figurines, all of newer vintage than house itself. SIZE: 10-1/2″ w x 8-1/2″ d x 19″ t. CONDITION: Replacement to left lower porch railing, some touch up repaint to metal grill work on railings. 1-13349 (500-1,000)
