VERY BEAUTIFUL GAULTIER CHILD. Pale bisque socket head incised “F. 6. G.” with spectacular pale blue threaded eyes, closed mouth with delicate lip highlighting, pierced ears, deep dimple in chin, and mounted on a separate bisque shoulder plate with similar markings. She is on the original white kid body with gusset joints at elbows, hips, and knees, with well detailed bisque forearms. The blonde mohair wig appears to be original and covers the original cork pate. The velvet silk ribbon and lace bonnet is antique and the robins egg blue silk and ecru lace dress are very well made by an expert seamstress. Stockings and undergarments are antique and the black leather shoes are well made replacements. SIZE: 17″ (43 cm). CONDITION: Overall very good.
