PATENT MODEL INDICATOR FOR TRAINS. Patented June 24, 1879 by Keyes & Smith, #216,862 (replaced tag). Tombstone shaped, wood framed wall mount clock marked “Train will leave at” below which are nine rotating panels with a variety of destinations. SIZE: 10-1/2″ h x 5″ w. PROVENANCE: The late Terry Wesner collection, Chelsea, Michigan. CONDITION: Generally good. Missing curved crest piece on upper right and maybe a trim piece or two and one clock hand. 1-12701 (300-600)
