LOT OF 3 PATENT MODEL SOFAS. Three convertible sofa beds including, 1. Bed lounger patented July 13, 1875 by Thomas Hall, #165,371. 2. Folding bed lounge patented May 12, 1874,by George Paine, #150,706. 3. Sofa bedstead patented May 17, 1853 by Gilliland & Waggoner, #9,726. These wood and upholstered sofas unfold/open to reveal a double wide sleeping surface. First two accompanied by original patent tags #3 has replacement patent tag (all good condition). SIZE: Largest is 12-3/4″ l. PROVENANCE: The late Terry Wesner collection, Chelsea, Michigan.
