CAILLE HERCULES GRIP TEST MACHINE. An attractive and desirable coin-operated strength tester on an original iron pedestal base. Referred to as the Caille “Hercules” grip test, this machine operated on a penny. The base and machine have a dark, marbleized finish with nickel plated trim highlights. Always a winner at any location with very little chance of mechanical failure, this type of machine was a great money maker for the operator. One would always be challenging their friend to see who was stronger. It is certain that it was not only tried once, but several times by the same players. Aesthetically, this is a very pleasing machine with a large “Try Your Grip” marquee mounted to the top of the machine. Retains original paper behind glass with slight rips/loss to paper. SIZE: 26″ h x 9-1/2″ d x 9-1/2″ w. CONDITION: Fanciful rear door and marquee are older replacements. Original cash box drawer and box intact. 1-12737 (4,000-6,000)
