EARLY FRENCH FASHION DOLL IN THE BARROIS MANNER. Bisque socket head incised “3” with pale blue eyes, closed pursed mouth, double chin on separate bisque shoulder plate on original leather body with separately stitched fingers with gussets at the elbows, hips and knees. She wears a lovely original dark blond mohair wig over cork pate and a two-piece dark blue wool walking suit with black velvet trim, mother-of-pearl button at waist and a rabbit fur hat. Undergarments are all antique but the shoes are of newer patent leather. SIZE: 16″ (40cm). CONDITION: Overall very good with some typical discoloration and wear to leather body. 1-12386 (2,000-2,500)
