25 CENT BALLY RELIANCE PAYOUT DICE MACHINE. An ingenious coin-op machine similar in nature to the Buckley Bones. These gambling devices let the player actually think he was playing the game of craps. Upon depositing a coin and pulling the handle, a pair of dice would appear in the left window. This became his “point” number. If he threw a 7 or 11 he was instantly a winner and paid the proper amount. Throwing a 2 or 12 is an automatic loser and the game is over. Any other number, he would depress the handle again until he made his point number, or threw a 7. A most complicated mechanism, yet simple once one understands the mechanics. This machine is in very good, all-original, untouched condition. In need of some light lubrication for machine to function properly, but not a big deal. Machine retains original back door with instruction sheet, as well as cash box. A very desirable gambling device and is highly sought after by collectors of coin operated gambling machines. SIZE: 15-1/2″ w x 11-1/2″ d x 17″ h. CONDITION: As described above, right reel most notably in need of some minor lubrication for it to spin properly. Otherwise, machine is complete and fully functional, including payouts. 1-12267 (8,000-12,000) Auction: Advertising, Toy & Doll - Fall 2012 Please Note: All prices include the hammer price plus the buyer’s premium, which is paid by the buyer as part of the purchase price.
