DELTON LOCOMOTIVE WORKS EARLY AMERICAN OUTLINE LOCOMOTIVE AND TENDER. A fine replica of an 1850s-60s 2-8-0 American outline locomotive and tender that tamed the west. The classic locomotive with extended cowcatcher, oversized lamp on boiler front, and early style bellowing smokestack make this a most appealing train. Obviously this piece was utilized by the Denver & Rio Grande during the mid- to late 1800s and this particular example is nearly identical to the real thing. Enclosed within its original box with its original paperwork, the toy is in very fine to near mint condition. SIZE: 27″ l. CONDITION: Toy appears almost never to have been removed from its original box or operated. 1-12497 (300-500)
