GEORGE BROWN HORSE BALANCE TOY. Very rare early American tin toy featuring a white full bodied horse with red saddle on a diamond platform. Toy complete with a pear shaped lead weight that keeps it upright. When toy rolls along the floor, horse rocks back and forth, simulating galloping. Rests between large cast iron japanned wheels. SIZE: 8″ l x 7-1/2 h. CONDITION: Overall very good plus with minor paint chipping to horse and some even wear throughout, some chipping to base and small re-solder and touch-up to foreleg. 1-11854 (2,500-3,500)
