EXCEPTIONAL 24″ EARLY STEIFF BEAR.

EXCEPTIONAL 24″ EARLY STEIFF BEAR. A honey colored bruin that appears to be in “as found” untouched original condition. Felt paws are largely intact with minimal moth holes (right and left leg paws). An abundance of fur which is somewhat matted with absolute minimal loss in the eye and nose section. A true gem that with a light cleaning would make this an incredibly fantastic bear. Stitching on nose is in excellent condition. Stuffing within inside of bear has thinned in left upper arm below shoulder and left leg approximately at what would be his knee joint. SIZE: 24″ t. CONDITION: Ankle area on left foot shows some aged amateur repair/sewing on front side, lacking Steiff button in ear. 1-12094 (3,000-4,000)
