SIMON & HALBIG LADY DOLL. Bisque socket head incised “1159 Germany Halbig S&H 10″ with blue glass sleep eyes, painted lower lashes and silk upper lashes, open mouth with slight smile and four upper teeth on realistically modeled French wood and composition lady body, fully jointed. She wears an antique cotton printed dress, much in the style of an 1880s lady with nice antique brown leather shoes and antique brown human hair wig with sausage curls. SIZE: 24” (62cm). CONDITION: Old hairline crack runs from rim edge to inside upper rim of left eye. Also a small “v” shape broken piece and glued at back rim of head. Significant loss of paint to several finger tips. 1-11610 (500-800)
