FRENCH HORSE AND CART WITH DOLL. A delightful yet delicate cart constructed of metal and wicker with a leather seat and ideal for displaying a French bebe. The hide covered horse with inset glass and full leather trappings would draw this cart about the Parisian streets. Presently an FS&C 1295 male youth is the driver of this vehicle. Obviously on his trip he has brought along three suitcases. The young man himself is on a jointed composition body and he has brown glass sleep eyes and is dressed in a matching coat and cap anticipating cold weather ahead. Bisque head appears to be free of damage excepting a few wig chips at crown and he has pierced nostrils. SIZE: Doll: approx. 23″ t. Cart: approx. 35″ l. CONDITION: Cart with minor wicker damage at right rear. Horse in fair condition with loss to hide covering. 1-11449 (800-1,200)
