EXTREMELY RARE DOOR OF HOPE MANCHU WOMAN. Seldom found figure from the Door of Hope series with an elaborate carved and painted wooden headdress with thread tassels extended from each side. She wears a Chinese red silk dress with pale green embroidery, multicolored pantaloons underneath and carved platform shoes with the front of the shoes painted green. SIZE: 11-3/4″ (29cm) to top of headdress. CONDITION: Near excellent other than a few moth holes on the pantaloons and the headdress appears to be reattached. 1-11159 (3,000-5,000)
