CAST IRON CHRISTMAS TREE STAND WITH FATHER CHRISTMAS. A highly elaborate Christmas tree stand made of cast iron featuring Santa Claus upon his green mountainous perch. Directly behind Santa is the cupped tree holder. Of unknown vintage but probably turn of the century and most likely of German manufacture. Nicely polychromed with Santa having a gray beard with white highlighting. Green base is edged in gold with white trims added to mountain peaks. SIZE: 9-1/2″ w x 9-1/2″ l x 7-1/2″ h. CONDITION: Overall very good plus. 1-11435 (650-950)
