CELLULOID MICKEY MOUSE COWBOY & PLUTO TOY WITH ORIGINAL BOX. Circa 1930s. Japanese made celluloid Mickey Mouse figure riding Pluto which is attached to a wooden rocker base. When wound the characters rock back and forth in an amusing motion. This is a very scarce toy which seldom comes up at auction. Toy also has its original box with a bright lithographed label showing Mickey riding on Pluto’s back. Under Pluto’s body there is a Japanese import label. SIZE: 8″ l. CONDITION: Very good plus to near excellent. Celluloid just seems to be a little dusty. His paper hat shows a small amount of wear. Box has some minor edge wear and label is slightly dusty, otherwise very good. 1-11495 (6,000-7,000)
