RARE DICE GAME BY A.J. STEPHENS. Circa 1930s. This seldom found and elusive coin-operated dice game appears to have been relatively inexpensive to manufacture, but very profitable in a bar location. The player would deposit a nickel, depress the level, and watch the dice flip. Various award cards (four included) could be changed by the operator/bartender. Obviously this particular machine worked on the honor system as the glass could be removed and the dice changed. Displayed also would be the beer of choice that the player could win. Overall in as-found, original condition and finish. Glass possibly incorrect. Pictured in For Amusement Only by Thomas Gustwiller on page 117. SIZE: 11″ l x 7-1/2″ d x 5″ h (excluding bottle and glass). CONDITION: Very fine original condition and in working order. Padlock lacking key. 1-10519 (1,000-2,000)
