DOG TRAY MECHANICAL BANK. Manufactured by Kyser & Rex Co. in Philadelphia, this is a charming mid-sized bank. Bank is oval-shaped in the form of a building on which dog stands with tray in mouth. When coin is placed on tray, dog tips forward and deposits coin into building. SIZE: 4-1/2″ h. CONDITION: Building below dog is an old repaint, and tray in dog’s mouth is probably a replacement. Even with these issues, the bank is fairly scarce and still desirable. 1-9897 (700-1,200)
