LIGHTHOUSE MECHANICAL BANK. Originally sold as the “Lighthouse Combination Savings Bank”, this fairly scarce bank is very visually pleasing. Reminiscent of the old lighthouses in Maine. The house accepts any coin to the size of a quarter while the tower accepts nickels only. Registering same to the amount of $5 when the money can be removed. The tower of lighthouse is painted red and base and rest of lighthouse is of brown japanning. SIZE: 10-1/2″ h. CONDITION: Bank is in excellent + condition with only some minor paint loss to one small corner of the base and a replaced cap on top of lighthouse. 1-9857 (1,500-3,000)
