FABULOUS LEHMANN TUT-TUT W/ORIGINAL BOX. There is likely no upgrade for this toy; this is the end of the line, probably the best condition you can buy! This toy had a prolific run and was sold for over 20 years. This one was probably made towards the end of its production because its wheels are two-toned gray and red (earlier version is all gray). This version has a deeper flesh-toned face and has black shoes, while the earlier version has brown shoes. The open lithographed car has a large hand-painted figure holding a horn. When car is wound, wheels automatically move back and forth; figure’s right hand steers car, his left hand holding horn which makes a “toot, toot” sound. Box has a brightly multi-colored label of the car driving down a road. It also has the name “Ida” written on lid; probably a gift to a young girl. SIZE: 7″ l. CONDITION: Toy is in near mint, unplayed-with condition, with vibrant colors. Box has small tears on flaps; otherwise in excellent plus condition. 1-9848 (2,000-2,500)
