LOT OF 2 LEHMANN TOYS. Lot includes Lehmann Tut Tut. The open lithographed car has a large hand-painted figure holding a horn. When car is wound, wheels automatically move back and forth; figure’s right hand steers car, his left hand holding horn which makes a “toot, toot” sound. This was probably one of Lehmann’s better selling toys because children were attracted to the movement of the car and the funny “toot, toot” sound the car made. Also includes Lehmann Motorcar, a copy of an early automobile with hand painted driver and 2 side headlamps and strong clockwork motor. SIZE: 7″ l & 5″ respectively. PROVENANCE: From the Collection of Malcolm Deisenroth, Jr. CONDITION: Tut Tut is overall very good, with some paint flaking to car and figure. Bellows not operative. Motorcar is in very good plus condition with minor discoloration to wheels. 1-10057, 1-10056 (900-1,200)
