CITROEN PHAETON. Turquoise and black open touring car features pleated interior, working steering wheel mechanism, windshield, nickel plated radiator and headlight rims. License plate is rubber stamped on front end. Car has a stationary clockwork (working). Car has four hand painted tin wheels and simulated rubber tires with a spare mounted on the back, all of which could be removed for additional play value. Lettered on the bottom “Automobile mecanique Andre’ Citroen, Made in France”. SIZE: 15-1/2″ l. PROVENANCE: From the Collection of Malcolm Deisenroth, Jr. CONDITION: Overall good with small dent to hood, replaced windshield, and some specks to paint, light scratching to fenders. Wheels have been restored, but show age. 1-10042 (1,500-2,500)
