LOT OF TWO EARLY AMERICAN TIN HOUSE BANKS. The larger of the two banks has stained blue roof over pale green body and stenciled window and door. The smaller has red roof and green body and is likewise stenciled. The chimneys on each double as coin slots. What is nice about these two banks is that to access the money, one normally has to disassemble the banks. In this case, neither has been disturbed. SIZE: Larger is 4-1/2″ h. PROVENANCE: From the Collection of Malcolm Deisenroth, Jr. CONDITION: Overall very good plus with uniform paint loss, most to the roof sections. 1-10146 (200-300)
