HORSE AND JOCKEY PLATFORM TOY ATTRIBUTED TO FALLOWS. The largest of the horse platform toys ever produced by any company of American tin. This particular horse came in various forms such as with a rider, with a bell or just by himself. The horse, painted in brown with black trappings to the body is standing on a green tin base (of newer vintage) with four iron wheels. Toy has a large seated jockey figure on horse’s back. SIZE: 13-1/2″ l. PROVENANCE: From the Collection of Malcolm Deisenroth, Jr. CONDITION: Overall paint is very fine plus. Horse reattached to base with damage to two hooves. 1-10038 (1,000-2,000)
