FINE J&E STEVENS FROG ON LATTICE MECHANICAL BANK. An appealing bank from the 1880s, this colorful frog, when pressing his front leg, his eyes would roll and mouth would open, and you would deposit your coin accordingly. Bank latticework has indigo blue with yellow and red trim to the doorways. The dark brown base has a green frog with dark green highlighting and white trim around eyes. SIZE: Approximately 4-1/4″ h. CONDITION: Overall very good plus to fine. 1-9547 (500-700)
