Waltershausen (Boulle) furniture includes a large scale marble top desk with gallery on top having cubby holes and doors on side with mounted crest on top as well as serpentine front and small drawers below finished with curved legs, a drop front three drawer desk with white carved columns on front corners and interior has center recessed mirror with flanking small drawers on sides and green paper interior, large scale armoire with highly decorative gold transfer work on doors; when opened interior shows hooks on back wall, fancy cabinet on legs with mirrored door having blue paper interior and shelf, a four drawer chest with fancy turned front columns having gold transfer work and a dressing table with center drawer having gallery with circular openings for bottles and a mounted mirror on back with scroll work. Included is an ormolu framed print. SIZE: Armoire is approx. 8″ t. PROVENANCE: From the Estate of Geraldine Gaba, Scottsdale, AZ. CONDITION: Good. Bonnet on top of cabinet is broken in two places and has been re-glued and the door is unhinged. 1-8805-63 AM (600-800)
