ANTIQUE WALTERSHAUSEN DOLLS’ HOUSE FURNITURE & ACCESSORIES. Circa 19th Century. Waltershausen (Boulle) furniture including a drop front desk with beautiful original interior of blue paper with cubby holes and center mirror and an unusual pediment on top and drawer below with two doors under writing surface having exceptional gold transfer work on front, a large pier mirror with original mirror on marble base with gold transfer work around mirror and at back of base, a marble top wash stand with center drawer and three-sided frame on top of marble resting on four curved legs with gold transfer work, upright piano with gold transfer work on bottom when lid is lifted one sees depressible piano keys, marble top dresser with fancy framing around mirror with large drawer below marble top and two drawers that open, a side chair having an open back with gold transfer work and upholstered with green silk having gold Dresden trim. Accessories include a highly decorated ormolu oval table with four curved legs and a checkerboard top, a six-arm ormolu chandelier with electric bulbs and Bristol shades, ormolu table lamp with decorative trim around the Bristol shade and two ormolu framed prints. SIZE: Tallest is 9-3/4″. PROVENANCE: From the Estate of Geraldine Gaba, Scottsdale, AZ. CONDITION: Good. Ormolu table shows a few discolored spots on both top and bottom. Desk shows worm holes as well as marble top desk.
