LOT OF ANTIQUE DOLLS’ HOUSE FURNITURE. Circa 1850-1890. Lot includes a large Empire sofa in purple silk with three matching chairs, a desk with bookcase above, an armoire, a desk with gallery above, a cabinet on legs, a sideboard with center glass cabinet having side shelves with bone finials, a four drawer chest, a marble top washstand, a sewing stand and arm chair. Included in the small scale is a sideboard with mirror on back, a sofa with two matching chairs, a chaise, a demi-lune table, three drawer chest, three side chairs; all without gold transfer work. Also included is a three piece Stevens & Brown tin bedroom set; bed, bureau with mirror and cabinet as well as a three piece tin bathing set in pink; tub, pail and sprinkling can as well as a large wooden pail with handles and an early tall cabinet with glass doors and drawers. Accessories include two early Parian dollhouse dolls, a wooden lady, a half tester bed made of cardboard having old bedding as well as a box of contemporary items. CONDITION: Items that are in large scale; the arm chair is put together using parts of other chairs, the sewing stand has top unhinged and mirror is missing, the cabinet on legs has a replaced door and front leg, the armoire is missing paint on the front corner, the desk with bookcase has one glass door replaced, sofa is missing bolster pillow and some gilt papers, cardboard is glued on back. Items in the small scale; sideboard is missing drawer, chaise has replaced feet and some gilt paper missing, two chairs are missing splats on back, and one chair has stain and other has no seat. The tin bedroom set has missing paint, dresser is missing a drawer, the three piece pink tin set have missing paints on the interiors of the tub and pail.
