5¢ MILLS “WAR EAGLE” TWO-COLUMN VENDOR SLOT MACHINE. An extremely decorative 1930s Mills slot machine featuring the famed war eagle birds adorning the right and left lower casting. A plethora of multi-colored stars further enhance the attractiveness of this machine. This machine has a jackpot with a reserve and a two column front vendor. The purpose of the mint vendor was to circumvent gambling laws and give the illusion that a player was actually purchasing mints rather than gambling. Machine is in all original, untouched, as-found condition directly from an attic or basement. SIZE: 16″ w x 16″ d x 23″ h.
