RARE ARMAND MARSEILLES “FANY” CHARACTER DOLL. This seldom found character is incised “231 Fany D.R.G.M. 248/1 A3M”. She has tiny blue glass sleep eyes, large stuck out ears, closed pouty mouth with turned up nose and highlighted nostrils. She is on a fully jointed German toddler body with diagonal hip joining, although not typical of the body in which she is normally found. She is well dressed in a 1910-style blue cotton dress with white lace and ribbon trim, a wonderful old blonde mohair wig and antique blue cloth shoes. SIZE: 17″ (43cm). CONDITION: Excellent, minor wear and surface soiling to body. 1-8236 RS (7,000-8,000)
