BARROIS-TYPE FRENCH FASHION DOLL. Although unmarked, the face highly suggests the maker as Barrois. She has a bisque swivel head on separate shoulder head plate, cornflower blue glass eyes, pierced-in ears and is on her original white leather kid body which has gussets at her elbows, hips and knees. She wears what could be an original floor length black silk dress with gold floral design. The blond mohair wig is newer than the doll and covers the original cork pate. SIZE: 16″ (41cm). CONDITION: Very good with typical discoloration to leather body with some wear on the fingers. The doll has no shoes. 1-8364 RS (2,200-2,800)
