BING GRAND CENTRAL STATION. Almost a direct copy of the earlier Ives station, this example manufactured by Bing in the 1920s was made for the American market, probably to accompany the American outline trains that they also sold in the U.S. Bing logo is high under the roof on both ends of the station. Interior is equipped for a single candle for nighttime use. Finely lithographed with a simulated stone siding and tiled roofing. SIZE: 19-1/2″ l x 8-1/2″ d x 8-1/2″ t. CONDITION: Good to very good, some wear and thinness of lithograph most prevalent on roof. 1-7074 JL (400-800)
