1940 RICHTER “STREAMLINER” GAS POWERED RACER. Powered by a twin spark plug Super Cyclone .60 gas ignition engine which has never been run. The rear wheel is driven through a ball bearing differential for better traction. Body is formed from lightweight aluminum. Car is set up to run either rail or tether tracks. On November 3, 1940 at the Western Regional Championship, a similar Streamliner won 1st Place. From this time on the car was a record setter. This example was located many years ago by Kurt Ritthaler in an old hobby shop in northeast Philadelphia. It was never sold or run. SIZE: 18″ l. CONDITION: Near excellent. 1-7648 (5,000-6,000)
