DON EDMUNDS “ELCAR SPECIAL” GAS POWERED RACER. Modeled after the Indianapolis racing car driven by John Duff, winner of the Indy 500 in 1926. It is equipped with a scale non-operating Model 8 cylinder Miller engine. Suspension detail, hand laced wire wheels. Details include complete instrumentation, scale steering wheel, hinged hood, and brilliant red and yellow paint, lettered “Elcar Special”. Complete with driver made by Edmund’s wife, Garnet.
